Ah, I should talk more on this... Even though school work has been busy. A lot of writing to do-- which I guess I don't mind, but it takes up a lot of time.

The... person I know on here-- they went ahead and showed me a bunch of older tournaments for Duel Monsters that they had on video, since they got brought up recently. Like, stuff from back when the game just started getting really popular.

Geeze... They really didn't know what they wanted the game to be yet, did they? It's kinda weird to watch them, when I've only really got somewhat of a grasp on the rules right now.

So bear with me if I think there's too much at once.

Then I think your teachers were potentially less than adequate at helping you get used to it.

They explained the basic stuff well enough to me. But they haven't explained stuff like action duels or riding duels or whatever duels.

Riding Duels are basically just Duels on a motorcycle. Nothing else strange.

Didn't they once have some really complicated extra gimmick thing, though?

Yes. That combined with the drop in Momentum use and power creep basically killed the format for time.

I think that's kinda a part of something being "strange" though, you know. Including an energy source like that, that far as I know, basically came out of nowhere.
