Hnmmm.
I'm still deciding if I'll get on the train tomorrow to see my parents, but I've been thinking about something else now.
See, uh, I know this... person. They haven't wanted me to say who they are-- cause that's how they are. I'm not questioning it really.
But ever since I've really gotten to be around them more often than a few times a year, I've realized they basically only have two settings: extremely over-emotional, or not really emotional at all.
I also think I've never actually seen them smile the entire time so far that I've known them.
Is this normal?

Depending on who and what they are and what tragic backstory fuels them it may be super normal which is hard to tell if there is baseline here?
