Hnmmm.

I'm still deciding if I'll get on the train tomorrow to see my parents, but I've been thinking about something else now.

See, uh, I know this... person. They haven't wanted me to say who they are-- cause that's how they are. I'm not questioning it really.

But ever since I've really gotten to be around them more often than a few times a year, I've realized they basically only have two settings: extremely over-emotional, or not really emotional at all.

I also think I've never actually seen them smile the entire time so far that I've known them.

Is this normal?

I'm trying to be vaguely less stubborn.

But that doesn't mean I expect you to announce it or anything. This is just a "your friends" thing or "someone asks specifically" thing.
